    On October 27 Chargé d'affaires of Poland visited Nepal to promote the bid of city of Łódź for organizing specialised EXPO.

    City Re:Invented was the title of the seminar organized jointly by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi, General Honorary Consulate in Kathmandu and Nepal Chamber of Commerce to promote candidacy of Poland for the EXPO. An audio – visual presentation and film show was arranged. The Chargé d'affaires of Poland, Mr. Robert Dziedzic, the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, Mr. Ghanshyam Bhandari,  the General Honorary Consul of Poland, Mr. Lokmanya Golchha and the President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Rajesh Kazi Shrestha spoke on the occasion. The Seminar was attended by  officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, members of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and print and electronic media.

    On the same day, the Polish delegation called on representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal. It is worth to notice that the meetings took place even though the day was unexpectedly declared holiday just a day before.
