    Competition for the best technological solution of air pollution problem brought two candidates from India to the finals in Krakow, Poland where they will fight for prestige and USD 1 lakh prize.

    Indian semifinal of Smogathon took place on October 16 in Bangalore – city which is recognized for a biggest start-up hub in the whole country. The event was organized by the Flying Mind Foundation from Poland in cooperation with IIT Bangalore and under auspices of the Embassy of Poland in New Delhi.

    The event attracted a number of competitors, both start-ups and companies with well-established market presence. All of them were presenting unorthodox methods of mitigating and fighting air pollution. The challenge was to present their ideas in the least complicated method in 5 minutes. Jury decided to award two of them that were able to turn smog into ink: Graviky and Chakr Innovation with tickets to finals in Poland.
