On the 5th of November, Ambassador of Poland to India, Adam Burakowski held a reception to celebrate 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence.

Ambassador Adam Burakowski opened the reception with a speech where he emphasized a long history of Poland as a sovereign and democratic country. The speech was followed by national anthems of India and Poland.

J.S. Mukul, Dean of Foreign Service Institute graced the reception as Chief Guest. The celebrations gathered the Polish community living in India and our many Indian friends and diplomats from other diplomatic missions based in Delhi.

Thanks to the Defense attaché in New Delhi, the guests of the reception could enjoy an exhibition "Niepodległa 1918" [Indpendent Poland 1918] prepared by the Central Military Library in Warsaw.

We owe big thanks to our sponsors - Polish companies successfully operating in Indian market - CANPACK Group, Inglot, Cenzin, Apple Factory and Krosno, which supported the celebrations of 100 anniversary of Poland regaining independence.
