    Poland was a partner country of the event. Deputy Prime Minister was accompanied by the chief ministers of two Polish regions (Mazovia and Subcarpathian), deputy ministers of economic development and foreign affairs and business delegation.

    Prof. Piotr Gliński delivered a speech in the summit opening ceremony. He also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as Chief Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani. Indian Prime Minister N. Modi visited Polish exhibition where he interested M28 aircraft produced by PZL Mielec. Polish delegation included more than 40 representatives of Polish companies from many sectors like aviation, machining, cosmetics industry, farming and many others. Many Indian businessmen participated in Polish National Seminar where memorandum between mentioned Polish regions and Gujarat was signed. Moreover, another memorandum was also signed between Polish and Indian companies, Bacoma and Amul .

    For the Deputy Prime Minister prof. Piotr Gliński it was his second visit to India. Last year he participated in Make in India Week in Mumbai which proved to be a very successful event and helped in strengthening Polish-Indian economic ties.
