    On the 2nd of December 2018, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi took part in the 30th DCWA and Diplomatic Community Bazaar in Nehru Park.

     

    DCWA, Delhi Commonwealth Women's Association is an organisation that runs Medical Centre providing high-quality and specialised medical care for over 80,000 patients annually. DCWA runs an educational Learning Centre for children aged 3-4 years, a Special Needs Clinic,  a Scholarship Programme and Vocational Training Programme as well. 

    The major fundraiser is  DCWA International Bazaar, which is held in collaboration with the Diplomatic Community  of New Delhi. The Embassy of the Republic of Poland has been supporting DCWA for many years.

     

    We owe big thanks to our sponsors - Polish companies successfully operating in India which donated their products - Bella India, Świeży Owoc, Bogutti, Krosno, Defence Bakery, Poland Premium, Sharda Group. All the revenues from the sale supported DCWA's charitable activities. 

     

    • Bella India is the leading manufacturer and supplier of sanitary napkins, baby diapers, adult diapers and all hygiene and cosmetic products.  
    • Świeży owoc is the leading apple producer in Poland, growing the fruit for 25 years and exporting them to many countries, including India.
    • Bogutti specializes in production of high quality, rich cookies, baked according to the best Italian technologies and made of selected raw materials.

     

    During the event, there was also a performance given by a Polish Accordion Duo, Bayan Brothers who came to New Delhi for a small tour at the invitation of the Polish Institute.
